Not sure what the reasons could be but it’s unfortunate these options are no longer available. A screenshot was released during the pre-release period which showcased two different modes but that seems to have been completely removed.
Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be different graphical modes for either version. Both versions run at a rock solid 30 frames per second and we witnessed next to no drops on either platform. To begin with, the Xbox One X version runs at 1800p resolution whereas the PS4 Pro version seems to be running in the region of 1650p. Both the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X versions offer extremely impressive levels of performance and visual fidelity. The iterative consoles are perhaps the best place to play Far Cry 5 if you are a console owner. Montana is by far one of the detailed worlds Ubisoft have created compared to say something like the one found in Ghost Recon Wildlands which prioritized quantity over quality. The series has seen a boost in its visual fidelity ever since Far Cry Primal. Besides being one of the best Far Cry games ever, Far Cry 5 also manages to be one of the best-looking games in the series.
